10. Remove the motor housing O-ring.

Continuity Test
1. Set the ohmmeter on the Rx1 scale.
2. Place the alligator clip meter lead on the armature shaft.
3. Touch the meter lead probe to each commutator bar one at a time.

4. Continuity Indicated - Armature grounded (replace armature).
Continuity Not Indicated - Armature not grounded.
