Table 9 - 2 shows the relationship between the setting value of the AMPM bit, the hour count register (HOUR)
value, and time.
The HOUR register value is set to 12-hour display when the AMPM bit is “0” and to 24-hour display when the
AMPM bit is “1”.
In 12-hour display, the fifth bit of the HOUR register displays 0 for AM and 1 for PM.
