Indicates alternative methods. There is often
more than one way that you can perform an
operation.
Conventions used
The following keyboard and symbol conventions are
used in this manual:
• ACTIVITIES, CALC, SEARCH, ON, MENU, ENTER
Done, Cancel and other bold notations indicate
buttons on the display that are touched with the touch
pen, or keys on the keyboard that are pressed with a
finger.
• Letters and numbers to be entered in examples are
shown in italics, for example
"Lunch at 12:00"
indicates
that "Lunch at 12:00" should be entered from the
keyboard.
• Activities, Notes, Filer, Search and similar notations
written with initial capitals are names of applications
and accessories. If the associated touch buttons on the
display are to be touched as part of a procedure, they
will be written in bold uppercase, for example: touch
ACTIVITIES, touch NOTES or touch SEARCH.
• Some keys have other functions that are accessed by
pressing the key in combination with the
(Shift) or
2nd key. For example: pressing
and also pressing
the Return (
) key inputs a tab.
