Safety regulations for maintenance
General information
To prevent accidents during maintenance and
repair work, all necessary safety measures
must be taken, e.g.:
Apply the parking brake.
Turn off the key switch and r
emove the key.
Disconnect the battery male connector.
Ensure that the truck cannot move uninten-
tionally or start up inadvertently.
If required, have the truc
k jacked up by the
authorised service cent
re.
Have the raised fork carriage or the ex-
tended lift mast secured against accidental
lowering by the authorised service centre.
Insert an appropriately sized wooden beam
as an abutment between the lift mast and
the cab, and secure the lift mast to prevent
it tilting backwards unintentionally.
Observe the maximum li
ft height of the lift
mast, and compare the d
imensions from
the technical data wit
h the dimensions of
the hall into which the
truck is to be driven.
These steps are taken t
opreventacollision
with the ceiling of the
hall and to avoid any
damage caused as a res
ult.

prior to all work on t
he system.

Work may only be pe
rformed on the electrical
equipment of the t
ruck when it is in a voltage-
free state. Funct

by trained and authorised
persons, taking t
he necessary precautions
