Checking fork arms
– Inspect the fork arms (1) for any visible
deformation. The wear must not amount to
more than 10 % of the original thickness.
CAUTION
Worn fork arms should always be replaced in pairs.
– Check the securing mechanism (3) for
proper operation.
– The locking screw (2) that prevents dislodg-
ing must be present.
