Safety regulations for handling co
nsumables
WARNING
Brake fluid is hazardous to your
health!
Brake fluid irritates the eyes and
can dry out the skin upon prolonged
contact.
– Coat your hands with a protective
skincreampriortostartingwork.
– Avoid prolonged or intensive
skin contact. In the event of skin
contact, clean the wetted skin with
water and soap, and subsequently
apply a skin care product.
– Prevent contact with the eyes. In
the event of contact with the eyes,
wash out the affected eye(s) with
clean water for ten minutes and
then ask a doctor for advice.
– Change clothing soiled with brake
fluid as soon as possible.
CAUTION
Brake fluid is flammable!
– Do not allow brake fluid to come into contact with
hot motor parts.
– Smoking, fires and naked flames are prohibited.
CAUTION
Brake fluid has strong dissolving and colour-chan-
ging properties.
– Immediately rinse off any brake fluid that has
splashed on paint, clothing, and shoes with
plenty of water
ENVIRONMENT NOTE
Brake fluid is a water pollutant!

Always store brake fluid in containers
complying with the regulations..
•
Do not spill brake fluid.
•
Spilt brake fluid must be removed immedia-
tely using an oil binding agent and disposed
of in accordance with regulations
•
Dispose of old brake fluid according to the
regulations.
•
Observe the national regulations for the
country in which the truck is being used.
