Procedures: Mag Encoder
Replacement
This procedure requires the Cable Routing Tool 105936-057 (also part of the ZXP9 Repair Kit
105936-058). Contact Zebra Customer Service at +01 877-275-9327 for ordering information.
Step 1. Insert the connector end of the mag encoder into the mag head mounting hole (arrow
below).
Step 2. Carefully pull the mag encoder cable through the card transport assembly.
