16 In the General tab, set the following values:
a Display name = Ramp Force Limit
b Unit class = Force
c Unit Type = mN
d Default value = 50
17 In the Description tab, enter Limit for the initial ramp loading
after contact.
18 In the Options tab, select only the Required Input checkbox.
19 In the Advanced tab, set the following values:
a When = Pre Sample
b Category = Reported Test Input
This tells the method that when it creates the printed report, this value
should be reported as a test input. What other inputs might be “Reported
Test Inputs”? What inputs should be “Reported Calculation Inputs”?
Check your answers by looking in the “Reported Test Inputs” and
“Reported Calculation Inputs” folders in the Inputs folder.
20 Right-click in the Settings pane and select Add Input… from the
resulting pop-up menu.
21 In the Insert New Variable dialog box, enter RampTime as the
Internal Name (no spaces).
22 In the General tab, set the following values:
a Display name = Ramp Time
b Unit class = Time
c Unit Type = s
d Default value = 10
23 In the Description tab, enter Time for the ramp load.
24 In the Options tab, select only the Required Input checkbox.

26 In the Settings pane, click on the Harmonic Displacement Target
input.
27 In the General tab, set the Default value to 10.
28 In the Configuration pane, click the Formulas folder.
29 In the Settings pane, right-click and select Add Formula… from the
resulting pop-up menu.
30 In the Formula Builder dialog box, click the Advanced… button.
