Chapter 4 Frame and Carriage Assembly
Optional On-Board Wheel Cleaner
There are two types of On-Board Wheel Cleaners. See Chapter 19 for more details.
Tools Required
3/4” wrench
Adjustable Wrench
1/16” Allen wrench
Safety Glasses
Installation of Components to Carriage Assembly
1) Shut off and lock out any power supply to the FreeStyler®.
2) Open the Side Utility Cabinets on the FreeStyler®.
3) Remove any packaging material from the Wheel Cleaning
Manifolds.
4) Remove the four 1/2-13 x 2” fasteners, and lock washers, from
the Upper Mount Plate.
5) Position the Upper Mount Plate inside of the Utility Cabinet so the fasteners holes are aligned with the clearance
holes found in the Utility Cabinets Base Plate.
6) Insert the fasteners up through the Base Plate, threading them into the Upper Mount Plate.
7) Locate the 3/4” hydraulic line packaged within the Utility Cabinet.
8) Position the 3/4” hydraulic line and secure it to the 3/4” JIC bulkhead found on the Upper Mount Plate, as shown
above in the image in step 4.
