Chapter 14 HydroBlade® Assembly Option
Side Manifold Installation
1) Shut off and lock out any power supply to the FreeStyler®.
2) Open the Side Pod Cover on both sides.
3) Remove the two Wheel Cleaner/HydroBlade® Side Manifolds (shown in the
image to the right) from their packaging.
4) Remove the four 1/2-13 x 2’’ fasteners and lock washers from the Upper Mount
Plate as shown below (typical).
5) Position the Upper Mount Plate inside of the side pod as shown above.
Note: Notice the Upper Mount Plate mounts inside the side pod and the bolts tighten thru the
bottom of the side pod plate.
Note: Be sure to mount the driver side and passenger side in the correct location.
Note: Notice on the passenger side manifold there is a Tee mounted to the
upper mount plate. The driver side does not have this Tee as shown
below.
