Chapter 12 Undercarriage Options
Undercarriage Above-Ground Placement
Actual placement or bay depth may vary according to preference, space available or system
configuration.
Undercarriage Assembly
1) Position the Undercarriage Wash/Rust Inhibitor in the desired location. Traditionally, it is placed just before
the entrance leg to the first piece of equipment in a tunnel.
2) Position it so that the right side of the Undercarriage Wash/Rust Inhibitor is angled towards the bay entrance.
3) Once it is in its permanent location, lag it to the floor.
4) Plumb water feed from Undercarriage Wash valve assembly.
