Chapter 9 Reclaim Water Adapter Kit Option
Assembling Reclaim Adapter Components
3) Install the ball check valve and inlet tee as shown in the images below. Once those 2 items are in place, secure the
previously removed barbed hose fitting into the bottom of the inlet tee (also shown below).
4) Cut the hose to a length allowing it to fit back onto the barbed hose fitting. Secure the hose into place using the previously
removed hose clamp as shown below.
5) In the original configuration, the copper bypass line dumps water back into the large tank. With the Reclaim Adapter, the
Relief Valve MUST be rotated 90° to prevent contaminated water from mixing with the fresh water of the large tank. Run
the bypass line to a drain. Water MUST flow out of tank (as indicated with the arrows in the images below).
It is simpler to make this modification if you remove the elbow/tube assembly completely and replace it once plumbed to the drain.
Note: The Reclaim Pump Outlet MUST NOT exceed 70 PSI outlet pressure. The inlet MUST have
a 120VAC Valve that will be controlled by one of the system’s Output Boards. See the
Operation Manual: Source Select for setup information.
