► FAN DRIVE PULLEY
1. Install the stopper to the fl ywheel so that the crankshaft
does not turn.
2. Unscrew the crankshaft nut.
3. Pull out the pulley.
► GEAR CASE
1. Remove the gear case.
<When reassembling>
• Stick the O-ring (1) to the gear case with thin grease to
prevent from coming off during reassembling.
• Apply grease to the crankshaft oil seal lip on the gear
case and take care not to damage it when installing.
• Apply a liquid gasket to both sides of the gear case
gasket.
Tightening torque of
crankshaft nut
48.1 ~ 55.9 Nm
4.9 ~ 5.7 kgf-m
35.4 ~ 41.2 lb-ft

► WATER PUMP AND RELIEF VALVE
1. Remove the water pump body (1).
2. Remove the relief valve cover (2). Remove the ball,
spring and seat.
<When reassembling>
• Install the relief valve cover (2) with its ▲ mark up.
Tightening torque of
crankshaft nut
32.4 ~ 36.3 Nm
3.3 ~ 3.7 kgf-m
23.9 ~ 26.8 lb-ft
