System #1 Backpressure Calculations:
A 5 mL syringe and a syringe speed of 2 is assumed for this example.
Conclusion for system #1: The total backpressure of 273 kPa is less than
690 kPa. Therefore, the selected tubing IDs, tubing lengths, and syringe speed can
be used.
System #2 Backpressure Calculations:
