You can either leave the disconnected Teflon waste line and union in
the tubing chase, or pull the line out from the front.
8. To ensure the green waste line stays in place in the opening in the AS
drip tray, sharply bend the line about 12 mm (1/2 in) from the end,
being careful not to restrict the inner diameter.
9. Push the bent end of the line into the small round opening on the right
side of the
AS tray (see Figure B-23).

Modules
This section explains how to plumb two chromatography systems in
parallel.
1. Locate the Y-connector, which is installed inside the AS autosampler
compartment (see Figure B-26
).
Make sure the injection valve waste line is not elevated above the
injection valve at any point between the valve and the AS drip tray.
