When entering timed event parameters:
Press Select Δ or Select to select a value.
Press Delete to clear a value from a field. When a field is blank, the
value from the previous step remains in effect.
Screen Field Description Values
TIME
The elapsed time at which the method step starts.
Every method begins with an
INIT (initial) step and
a
TIME = 0.00 step. You can edit the events for these
steps, but cannot delete them. The initial step occurs
when the timed events for the previous injection
have ended.

VALVE
Controls the position of the injection valve in the
chromatography system module. An AS TTL
output must be connected to a TTL input on the
chromatography system module. See Appendix E
for details about TTL connections.
Only one
LOAD and one INJECT command can be
specified in a method. Sample loading must occur
before the injection. By default,
LOAD occurs at the
INIT step and INJECT occurs at TIME = 0.00.

NOTE If the schedule specifies an injection per vial of 0, then only the
method’s sample prep steps occurs.

VALVE2
(simultaneous
injection
mode only)
If the AS is equipped with, or connected to, two
injection valves (for simultaneous injections), these
fields are used to select the position of each valve. If
the valves are installed in the AS, injection valve #1
is the bottom valve and injection valve #2 is the top
valve. Specify one
LOAD and one INJECT
command for each valve. Sample loading must
occur before the injection. By default,
LOAD occurs
at the
INIT step and INJECT occurs at TIME = 0.00.

Provides TTL and relay control of other devices.
