SAFETY EQUIPMENT AND REGULATIONS

Drilling & Sawing Line
1.5 ELECTRIC AND ELECTRONIC CONTROLS
The equipment (and therefore the machine) must be located in a
vibration-free area. A sufficient space must be provided all around the
equipment to allow free access to it for inspection and maintenance
purposes, even with the cabinet doors open.
Min dimensions of passages must comply with what is indicated in
481.2.4 of IEC Publication 60364-4-481
Cabinet must be properly sheltered to protect it against shocks, hits, etc.
The equipment must not be weathered to the direct sun radiation for
more than 2 hours a day
(See electric and electronic systems)
When executing arc weldings, it is necessary to
connect the ground cable of the current directly to the
piece to be welded, as near as possible to the welding
point.
The disregard of this rule may cause troubles and/or
permanent damages to the electronic control
equipment of the machine.
1.6 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
Make sure to use the type and grade of oil (or equivalent) as recommended
on the plate attached to the hydraulic power unit.
Check the oil level at regular intervals to make sure that the oil level is
maintained. Never use scavenge oil or oil of different type, grade or make.
Never leave the reservoir taps open as chips, flash, dirt, etc. may get into it.
Should it be necessary to repair or reweld the hydraulic pipes, make sure to
drain all the oil off first. Thoroughly clean the hydraulic system with the
appropriate solvent before and after the welding operation (See hydraulic
system section)
1.7 PNEUMATIC SYSTEM
The system pressure at the regulator inlet should never be lower than 6 Bars
(90PSI) even when the system is under maximum load.
The main supply line must be fitted with all the devices and means capable
to eliminate accumulation of dangerous condensation and/or foreign
matters.
