2.6.1 SLIDING GUIDES LUBRICATION
Guides are lubricated and protected against corrosion and wearing. We suggest to use
lithium soap grease for rolling bearings. Alternatively it is possible the use of mineral oils.
Lubrication takes place through a nipple which is of standard supply and it is fitted on the
cart.
Lubricating intervals depend on several circumstances such as for example : the working
load, environment conditions, etc.
We have experienced that about 2 to 5 lubrications well distributed during the guide
lifetime are quite sufficient.
Carts are supplied already filled with grease for rolling bearings.
