Variants for basic nesting procedure: how to use the push-button “Rotation”
Depending on what box is checked in the “Rotation” window the nesting could be carried out with some
rotated piece.
Rotation of pieces is useful to nest pieces with initial and final angled cuts; rotation of pieces is a good way
to save material and tool life.
If the operator presses the push-button “Automatic” in the rotation window, the CNC software performs it-
self the rotation of the pieces but without the possibility of different pieces mixed on the same bar.
If the operator presses “Automatic” the system asks for the maximum number of pieces to nest in a single
bar (maybe the operator would like to decide the minimum surplus because, after the present nest, he
must execute a new contract which needs given length of bars).
The rotated pieces are shown in zone n. 14 with green line number.
