Model 1001 DFB Programming and operating manual
FICEP S.p.A. 43
Setup
The Setup pages contain all data necessary to execute the program and they can be called up:
- automatically by an execution program; in this case the operator must verify the machine setup ac-
cordingly to the tools required by the program in progress
- directly by the operator before execute the program
It would be better to call up automatically the setup pages: so that the CNC copies directly all required tool
data from “Tables” (general database) to “Setup” (working database).
If setup windows are called up automatically by the CNC software, the fields with correct setup are dis-
played with green background whereas the fields with setup to be changed are displayed with red back-
ground. The operator has to set-up the machine with the tools and the profile required and then confirms
pressing the push-button “OK”.
ATTENTION: When the operator presses the OK push-button, the CNC cannot verify if
the requested setup correspond exactly to the one of the machine. To avoid
damages it is required that the operator checks with the utmost attention
before confirming.
Drilling-Milling operations setup window
The following picture represents the drilling setup window. If the machine has the second optional drilling
head, two windows are displayed: “Drilling A” for the drilling head on the stationary vice side, “Drilling B”
for the one on the mobile vice side. If the line has an only drilling head, only one window will be displayed.
To call up the working parameters of one of the tool inserted in the magazine, use the arrows keys to se-
lect one field from F1 to F6 in the L.H. side of the video.
