provide the correct lubrication of the drills
verify the integrity of drills when sharpening operation are required.
The use of protecting gloves is recommended to handle parts and tools.
When parts having consistent weight and dimensions (over 2 t.) are loaded it
is compulsory to reduce the axes feedrate according to the increased weights
and dimensions.
1.12 LOADING/UNLOADING ZONE PROTECTION
The entire area, involved in loading/unloading operations of material to be
processed, must be suitably protected and absolutely inaccessible. No
admittance is allowed either to the machine operator or to any other person
when the machine is operating.
Doors or gates, fitted with limit switches or photocells to be connected to
the emergency signals thus obviating any possibility for the machine to
operate when the operator is within the loading/unloading zone, must be
provided to allow the operator to get safely into the loading/unloading zone
for material loading purpose or for processed parts handling.

Measurements above have been carried out according to the procedures
given to meet the Standards in force.
1.14 IMPORTANT INSTRUCTION
It is the Machine User's responsibility, after installation of the machine, to
provide additional protecting means to suit the machine location, the use of
the equipment and the auxiliary equipment.
FICEP's Engineers do, however, stand ready to provide any suggestion and
recommendation to this end, if so required.
