4.1 INTRODUCTION
The machine set-up covers the information regarding all the operations and
adjustments to be carried out by the operator to set the machine in the best
operational condition.
It is important that your Programmer Engineer be familiar with all the set-up
sequences, as described in this Part of the Manual, thus making it possible to
identify the program data necessary to process a part.
The machine set-up has been divided into the following phases:
4.1.1 Machine set-up
It covers all the adjustments and operations common to any part processing
to be performed by the operator to insure a correct operation and
performance of the machine.
4.1.2 Machine operations set-up
It covers all the typical sequences to be performed during the machine set-
up operations.
