Attention: If the tool internal lubrication is used, it is necessary that the tool holder have a re-
tention knob to allow the coolant passage (see particular “3” in the previous im-
age).
Band of the cutting unit
The band must be inserted with teeth turned toward the doors of the cabinets and must pass into the band
guide.
For its replacement, use the push button station normally placed near one of the two wheels for band rota-
tion.
Rotate the central selector in left position, one of the wheel moves near to the other releasing the band by
means of an hydraulic cylinder (band tighten). Rotate the central selector in right position to stretch again
the band.
ATTENTION
The band replacement must be executed by at
least two qualified operators, which wear the suita-
ble IPD (Individual Protection Devices), to hold up
the band near each wheel.
On the push-button station another emergency
push-button is available. In case of activation, to re-
store the normal functioning, it is necessary to un-
lock the push-button and to push again the “RE-
SET” push-button with blue warning light sideways
to the main electric switch.
