protecting fuses (if present) for the main and single circuits have the
correct size as indicated in the wiring diagram.
It is necessary to check the operation of the photoelectric barrier (if
present). After having interrupted one of the two rays (the operation
must be repeated for each ray) the correct result is that it is not possible
to move the machine axes. Obviously, if operator during the normal
operation notices that when passing through the barrier, for normal
loading unloading operations, the control device inside the electric
panel, does not go into alarm (lighting of illuminated blue push-button
for barrier reset makes this easier to note) must stop the machine
operation till when the fault is repaired, and the safety operation of
barriers restored.
In the event the emergency push-button (of emergency stop device or of
one of the contactors that supply the drives of brushless motors) is
replaced it is compulsory to check that after having pressed the
emergency mushroom push-button the result is the opening of the
contactors: of drives, hydraulic power pack and of the spindle motor.
Exclusively electrically skilled personnel must execute the above
operation of verification, since it requires the access to live circuits.
