6.6 Bilge Pump
6.6.1 Bilge Pump Description
The A5 has a bilge pump located at the low point on the inside of the hull. It is located near the hull step
beneath the fuel tank. It pumps any water from the hull overboard via a port located on the left side of
the fuselage above the left Seawings™ platform. This allows the pilot to verify the function of the pump
by looking out the window over his or her left shoulder.
