7.4 SLT 3-party Conference
Description
A single line telephone user can initiate a 3-way conference with any combination of CO lines
and internal users.
Operation
To set up a conference from a SLT,
1. Place or receive first call.
2. Momentarily press the hook-switch, the intercom dial tone is received and the active
call is placed on exclusive hold.
3. Place the second call and announce the conference.
4. Momentarily press the hook-switch twice within 2 seconds to establish a conference.
Consideration
A station that is busy, in DND or other non-idle state cannot be added to a conference.
When pressing the hook-switch with an active call places the call on exclusive hold and is
subject to Hold recall.
