11.5.6 Message Reply
Description
A user can send a reply to messages received from other internal system users. After
listening to a message, the user is given the option to reply to the message. If the user selects
to reply, option voice prompts are provided to instruct the user on recording and sending the
reply.
Operation
To reply to a message, while listening to or after the message is played,
1. Press ‘5’ to reply to the current message.
2. Follow the voice prompt instructions to record your reply and press # when done
Consideration
Reply is only available for messages from other internal Voice Mail users.
The user to receive the reply must have VMIB access.
A user-recorded message (comment) can be added to the message before replying to or
forwarding a message.
