Issue 2.2
Feature Description and Operation Manual

14.2 CLI Transit Service
Under certain situations, the ISDN Station Attributes are not appropriate for the ipLDK to
determine the outgoing CLI. In particular, calls placed on ISDN CO lines
by a DISA caller,
as a result of DID Off-net forward,
using Walking Class of service,
requiring an Authorization code (Forced Station Account Code, CO Account Code or
LCR Password)
may require special handling of outgoing CLI.
For DISA calls, the system determines the Station ISDN CLI parameters, if required, based on
the CLI Transit type assigned for the outgoing line and the type of Authorization code entered
as shown in the chart below.

ORI
(Original)
Use CLI of original external caller
For a DID call, which is rerouted Off-net, the system will determine Call ID based on the CLI
Transit setting. The CLI used will be either the original CLI received by the system, or using
the ISDN attributes associated with the System Attendant station.
For ISDN CO line calls placed using Walking Class of Service or requiring the entry of an
Authorization code, the system will use the attributes of the station associated with the
Authorization code or, for a system Authorization code, the attributes of the System Attendant
station.
If CLI Transit is set to CFW, the system generates the CLI as discussed in section 14.3. The
CLI Transit can be configured to employ the Call ID received by the ipLDK or based on the
type of Authorization code (System or Station)
Consideration
If Calling/Connected Line Identification Restriction (refer to REF A.) is enabled for the
station and is supported by the ISDN, the system will send the restriction message in
place of the CLI or COL.
If CLI Transit is set to CFW, CLI is generated as discussed in Reference B.
