9.3 Mobile Phone Support
Description
Mobile Phone Support allows a mobile phone to be registered to a station allowing the mobile
phone to place and receive calls through the system. ISDN/T1 DID, VoIP CO line and station
calls are sent to the user’s ipLDK phone and the active registered mobile phone simultaneously.
If the mobile phone is paired with a Hunt group station, Hunt group calls can be routed to the
station and the active mobile phone.
The mobile phone user can access the facilities of ipLDK to place internal and external calls as
well as transfer calls received from the ipLDK. To access the ipLDK to place calls or activate
features, the mobile user calls the DID number of the user’s ipLDK station. When the call is
received, the system matches the CLI to the mobile phone and provides the mobile user with
system dial tone.
When SMS is supported, the system can be configured to send an SMS message to notify the
mobile user of new Voice Mail messages. The mobile user can access the Voice message
through the Voice Mail remote access procedure (refer to Ref. H).
The mobile phone number and CLI may be registered by the user or in the system Admin.
The user can activate Mobile Phone Support from the Mobile by calling the user’s DID number
or DKT station and can assign a Flexible button for one-button activation of Mobile Phone
Support.
Operation
To register a mobile number from the DKT,
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button
2. Dial ‘3 3’.
3. Dial the mobile phone number that is being registered,
4. Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button.
To activate (deactivate) Mobile Phone Support,
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button
2. Dial ‘3 4’.
3. Dial 1 to activate, or 0 to deactivate.
4. Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button.
To register the mobile extension CLI number from the DKT.
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM]
2. Dial ‘3 5’.
3. Dial the mobile CLI number
4. Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button.
To use the mobile phone as a Hunt group member,
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM]
