15.2 IP address Dialing
Description
ipLDK users can call place calls over IP lines using the IP address of the called party.
Operation
To call an IP address,
1. Select an IP CO line.
2. Dial the IP address (use the * to dial the dots “.” in the IP address). Ex., for IP
Address: 156.147.3.201, dial 156*147*3*201)
3. Press the # button to place the call. If the called party is an ipLDK user, alerting will
follow the CO line Ring Assignment (PGM 144).
Consideration
When programming a Speed Dial for IP Address calling, the ‘#’ button must not be
included.
For DISA calls, outgoing access to a VoIP CO line is not possible.
Admin Programming
CO Line Service Type (PGM 140)
Assigns the type of CO line service (Normal, DID, DISA)
VOIB IP Setting (PGM 340)
Sets the IP parameters of the VOIB
