Consideration
The TOS byte of the IP packet can be defined in the ipLDK to adjust precedence of voice
communication packets.
Outgoing H.323 calls must use Enblock signaling; the ipLDK will wait for the user to dial
‘#’ or the Enblock Timer setting before setting up an H.323 call.
MSN tables, COLP, CLIP, CLI Message Wait, etc. apply to VOIB CO lines.
VOIB CO lines can be used to support mobile extensions.
An H.323 line can be shared by multiple ipLDK-60 users as a common (‘Normal’) line.
The system can be equipped with eight (8) VoIP channels that are used to support IP
Trunks, IP Phones and Phontage IP softphones and may be used to support Private
Networking. Assure sufficient channels are available to support the desired channels
and expected traffic.
VOIB CO lines may not be compatible with E911 systems; the user is advised to arrange
appropriate emergency services.
It may be necessary to configure stations for access to the assigned CO line group and
Flexible buttons for one-touch access.
