4.15 Intercom Call Hold
Description
A user can place an intercom call on hold. The held call will receive MOH from the assigned
source. When the station initiating the hold returns to idle, the station will receive Hold recall
for the I-Hold Recall time then the call is terminated.
Operation
To place an Intercom call on Hold from a DKT,
1. Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button once, the call is placed in Intercom Hold.
To place a Intercom call on Hold from an SLT,
1. Press and release the hook-switch.
2. Dial the Hold code ‘5 6 0’.
To access a held intercom call from the holding station
1. Return to idle, the station will receive recall for the held Intercom call,
2. Lift the handset.
Consideration
A held intercom call is only available to the station placing the call on Hold.
A held intercom call will be released if not answered by the holding station in the I-Hold
Recall time.
