12 CALL STATISTICS & TRAFFIC ANALYSIS
12.1 Account Code
Description
Station users may allow tracking of specific calls by entering a non-verified variable length
identifier (up to 12 digits) for a call. The identifier or “Account Code” is output as part of the
Station Message Detail Record (SMDR) for the call. A Flexible button may be assigned to
enter an Account Code and may include the Account Code, (refer to Ref. B).
Operation
To enter an Account Code while connected to a CO line,
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button.
2. Dial ‘5 5 0’ (refer to Ref. A).
3. Dial the code (maximum 12 digits).
4. Dial ’*’ to complete the entry and return to the call.
To enter an Account Code with an Account Code button while connected to a CO line,
1. Press the Account Code button.
2. Dial the code (max. 12 digits).
3. Dial ‘*’ to complete the entry.
To enter an Account Code prior to placing a call,
1. Press the Account Code button.
2. Dial the code (max. 12 digits).
3. Dial ‘*’ to complete the entry, Intercom dial tone is received and a CO line may now
be accessed.
Consideration
While entering the Account Code, the conversation is muted so the connected party does
not hear the Account Code digits as they are dialed.
The user may enter an Account Code on an incoming or outgoing call. For an outgoing
call, the Account Code may be entered before dialing the telephone number.
