13.10 DSS/DLS Consoles
Description
The Attendants and other DKT stations may be equipped with DSS/DLS Consoles that provide
an additional 48 Flexible buttons each. The buttons function as any other Flexible button on
the associated DKT. Up to three (3) Consoles may be equipped for each station. Each
console requires a separate connection to the ipLDK and reduces the available stations by one
for each console.
The buttons on the console are fully programmable and provide the user with one-button
access to the assigned CO line, station or feature for more convenient operation. Each button
has associated LEDs to display status for the CO line, station or feature. One of three
templates or Maps for the Flexible buttons is assigned for the Console providing basic
configuration of the buttons. The buttons can then be individually assigned a desired function
other then the template function.
Consideration
There is no limit to the number of DSS/DLS consoles in the system other then the
maximum number of DTK stations.
The default templates (maps) available for the Console are shown in the chart below.
