11 VOICE SERVICES
11.1 Company Directory
Description
A CCR Table can include the Company Directory as a destination for a caller dialed digit. In
the directory, the caller enters characters from the dial pad and the system matches entries with
programmed user and virtual mailbox names. When completed, the Name greeting for each
match plays and the caller may select the appropriate party to call.
Operation
To Access the directory
1. Caller dials Company Directory index from CCR
2. System plays First/Last name prompt
3. Caller selects Name
4. System plays 3 character prompt
5. User enters characters
6. System plays Name Greeting for each match (maximum 9)
7. Caller selects desired match and call is placed.
To record a User Name Greeting
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button or dial the SLT Program Access code ‘563’.
2. Dial ‘6*’ and follow the voice instructions to record the Name Greeting.
3. Press the [Hold/Save] to store the greeting.
Consideration
The first and last name of each system user or virtual mailbox must be defined and a
Name greeting recorded.
The station or virtual mailbox must be provided with VMIB Mailbox Access to enable a
mailbox and Name recording.
