17 ADMIN & MAINTENANCE
17.1 Digital Keyset Admin
Description
The ipLDK database can be configured employing a designated DKT to access the various
parameters of the system. In the programming mode, normal operation of the DKT is
terminated and the DKT works as a programming terminal. The dial pad is used to input
Program codes and associated data. Flexible buttons are used to access and modify specific
parameters and the LCD is employed to view the various parameters and the settings for each.
A DKT with the 24-Flexible button array is recommended to allow access to all parameters
available.
While in the programming mode, operation of certain buttons is modified to permit easier data
entry. The softkey menu generally provides a Back, Delete and Save functions. The Volume
Up/Down buttons permit scrolling through menus and entries. The [Conf] button returns to the

step of the data entry procedure for the Program Code.

Operation:
To enter the Programming mode from a DKT,
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button.
2. Dial ‘* #’.
3. Enter the Admin password, if required.
The general procedure for data entry after entering the Program mode is,
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button.
2. Enter the desired Program Code.
3. For station or CO based Program Codes, enter the station or CO range.
4. Select a desired parameter, generally using a Flexible button.
5. Use the dial pad to enter data.
6. Press the [SAVE] softkey.
To exit the Programming Mode,
1. Press the [On/Off] button.
Consideration
As a default, the System Attendant at station 100 (station port 01) can access the
database. Any DKT station(s) can be allowed to access and modify the ipLDK-60
database.
SIP Attributes 1 and 2 are only accessible with the PC Admin and are not available to a
DKT for programming.
