13.5 Attendant Override
Description
An Attendant can override the DND state at another station to call or transfer a call to the
station.
Operation
To override a station in DND from an Attendant while receiving DND tone,
1. Dial ‘’.
2. DND warning tone changes to ringback tone
3. Await answer to speak to the station user or hang-up to complete the transfer.
Consideration
If the Attendant is transferring a call, the receiving station must have an available
appearance (CO line or Loop button) for the CO Line to receive the transfer. Otherwise,
the transfer will recall to the Attendant immediately.
