Issue 2.2
Feature Description and Operation Manual

VMIB Message Wait
CLI Message Wait
External VM Group Message Wait
A VMIB message may also include a CLI Message Wait. In this case, deleting the VMIB
message also deletes CLI Message Wait.
When sending a copy of a message to another station, the receiving station must be
allowed VMIB access.
As a default, the Time & Date stamp, indicating when the message was received, is
played followed by the message. If desired, the Time & Date stamp can be removed
and only the message is played when retrieving messages.
For pulse-type SLTs, when the mailbox is accessed, the first message is played then
deleted and warning tone is received indicating additional messages are waiting. To
retrieve the next message, hang-up and access the VMIB mailbox again.
Messages are retrieved in the assigned order (VMIB Message Type), either First-in-First-
out or Last-in-First-out.
The Rewind softkey will rewind the message based on the VMIB Rewind timer.
When a message is sent to another station, a copy of the message is maintained in the
sending user’s mailbox.
