Calculating minus numbers
When incorporating minus numbers into a formula, put them in parentheses
If you fail to do so, the following error message will appear.
E0061 Formula error
Example:
Correct: CA02= (-100)*CA01
Wrong: CA02=-100*CA01
Contents of a Program
UP to 16 items and up to 102 characters can be incorporated into one formula.

Continuous Use of Brackets of Numeric Operators
Up to 3 consecutive brackets can be included in the numeric calculation. You cannot save the formula including
more than four consecutive brackets.
For example:
Correct: A = (((B + C) - D) + E) + F)
Wrong: A = ((((B + C) - D) + E) + F) - G)
7.2.10 Error Messages Displayed When Setting Numeric Calculation Formula
If one of the following messages is displayed when you set a Numeric Calculation formula, there is a problem
with the Numeric Calculation formula. Recheck and correct it.

E0061: Formula error. Displayed when
the formula was

Grammatical error
For example,
“CA01 = -100 + BW01” should be “CA01 = (- 100) + BW01”.
E0062: Calculation error. Displayed when
the existing
Numeric
Calculation
formula was
copied
If the number of Numeric Calculation to which is copied is lower
than the number of the referred Numeric Calculation.
For example,
Numeric Calculation formula which is to be copied:
CA05 = CA03 + BW01
Numeric Calculation formula No. to which is to be copied: CA02
(Thus, “CA02” becomes equal to “CA03 + BW01”, and the data
substituted for CA03 are the calculation result of the previous
inspection)
E0064: Divided by 0 Displayed when
the Numeric
Calculation
formula was saved
The denominator in a Numeric Calculation formula is “0”.
E0066: Formula error.
Please check the checkers
used in the formula.

In the case where you attempted to save a formula in which a
checker and the data of Numeric Calculation (CA) that have not
been set.
E0067: Out of calculable
range
Displayed when

A negative value was used together with a square operator ($)
in a formula to be saved.
