11.3 Computer Link
11.3.1 Overview and Communication Specifications
Computer Link is the mode for the communications between a MICRO-IMAGECHECKER and a programmable
controller (PLC). The following communications are available for particular PLCs.
Data Output
The PV310 writes the inspection results and data to the specified register of PLC as the beginning. Therefore, the
PLC does not need a communication program to receive data.
Product Type Switch (PV310 Ver.1.1 or later)
At the timing of input the TYPE signal, PV310 refers to the value that has been stored in specified register of PLC
and switches the product type to the reference number.
When inputting a TYPE signal to switch the type, you can select the value in the register of PLC as described above
or the value specified by the parallel I/O input.
