3.2 About RS-232C (COM1) Port
Port Used for RS-232C Communication
The COM1 port is an 8-pin round connector, which is used for RS-232C communication.
Pin Assignments
A Hoshiden connector (part No.: TCS6180) is used for the COM (RS-232C) port on the PV310.

1 Red SD
2 White RD
3 Black RS
4 Yellow CS
5 Blue DR
6 Green SG
7 Brown CD
8 Gray ER
• COM2 port is not available.
• As for RS-232C control, the PV310 can take flow control according to the setting. Refer to page 260 for
details of communication settings.
