16.1 Overview
Features
The camera switching unit outputs either of the images captured by two connected cameras to the PV310 (in
camera switching mode) or the composite image consisting of each upper/lower/left/right half parts of the images
that were captured by two cameras (in camera division mode).
Mode Description
Camera Switching* Outputs the image captured by either of the connected two camera to the PV310
Upper/
Lower
Outputs a composite image consisting of the upper half part of the image captured by
Camera A and the lower half part of the image captured by Camera B to the PV310.
(Available only for standard camera.)

Left/Right Outputs a composite image consisting of the left half part of the image captured by
Camera A and the right half part of the image captured by Camera B to the PV310.
(Available only for standard camera.)
*You can switch the cameras by inputting the signal from the external device or operating a dipswitch on the main unit.

*PV310 can connect up to two Ultra small cameras. When connecting two Ultra small cameras to the port CAMERA1
through the camera switching unit, you cannot connect another camera to the port CAMERA2.
Note that you cannot connect a different type of camera to the camera switching unit.
Correct Wrong
• You cannot connect more than one camera switching unit to the Camera Port 1 on the PV310.
• When using a camera extension cable, connect it to the camera side. If you connect to the PV310 side, the
separation position, which is available in camera separation mode, may be shifted.
• Refer to the installation manual that came with the camera switching unit for more details of installation of
the unit.
