9.4.4 Behavior When Ethernet Communication Error
When image output through Ethernet failed, the behavior of PV310 is selectable.
Condition of “Communication error”
This “Communication error” indicates the situation that the device fails to output images correctly because of the
following conditions.
Trouble in LAN cable (such as disconnection or loose connection)
Image Receiver is not activated.
Behaviors
You can select the following behaviors including taking no action. Both Error signal output and forced outage are
available at the same time.
1 None Takes no action specially. Ends inspections in the same way as successful
image output.
2 ERROR Signal Output Outputs an error signal through parallel I/O.
3 Forced Outage Aborts inspections. When “Output operation” is set to “Synchronous”, you can
retransfer the image that is failed to output by keypad operation.

Out puts an error signal through parallel I/O.
Timing of Error Signal Reset (OFF)
Output operation Timing of Reset (OFF)
Outputting error signal singularly
“Forced outage” without image
retransmission
Depends on “Parallel Reset Condition”.
“Forced outage” with image retransmission Turns off the error signal when the image is retransmitted.
When retransmission was not completed correctly, outputs an
error-signal again and shows the same message.
