Edge-Vertical)
Command format: Comma separated
Communication direction Command / Description
Sending Command from
External device
% G ?? , aaa , bbbCR
?? 01 to 99 Specify the number of the target checker in 2-digit form.
aaa 001 to 255 Specify Edge Threshold
*1
of Horizontal scan direction or
Base Checker 1 in 1 to 3-digit form
bbb 001 to 255 Specify Edge Threshold
*1
of Vertical scan direction or
Base Checker 2 in 1 to 3-digit form
For example, if the horizontal edge threshold of checker 5 = 80, the vertical edge
threshold of checker 5 = 100, the sending command will be %G05,80
C
R
or %G05,080
C
R.
Response - Normal (at the end
of changing edge threshold
value)
% G ?? , aaa , bbbCR
The same command as the sending command from external device to PV310 is
transmitted.
Response: Error 1
% U CR
Cause:
Command in the unspecified form or not provided was received.
Examples:
- %G1,80
C
R
(any other checker number than 01 to 99 was specified)
- %B01,80,200
C
R
(not provided command)
Response: Error 2
• ERROR signal = “ON”
• Error Code: E0177 is
displayed on the screen
% Z CR
Causes:
• The target checker is not saved as the number of the checker specified by the
sending command.
• The edge threshold specified by the sending command is not between 001 or 1
and 255.
• If the scan direction of Position Adjustment (Gray Edge) checker is set to either
“Vertical” or “Horizontal”, the other unset edge threshold is specified to any
other number than “0”.
*1
If the scan direction of Position Adjustment (Gray Edge) checker is set to either “Vertical” or “Horizontal”, the
other edge threshold must be “0” (if the edge threshold is specified to any other number than "0", an error
response %Z
C
R
will be output). A response to the change command from external device is send as “0”.
Example: If “Horizontal edge threshold” is specified to “100” and Vertical edge threshold is not specified,
• Sending command
% G 0 1 , 1 0 0 , 0 0 0 CR
• Normal response
% G 0 1 , 1 0 0 , 0 0 0 CR
