Purpose:
Perform this procedure to adjust Rack to Beam Block clearance, Fi

1. Perform Check procedure “VP - 3.4 Rack Clearance Check” (Pa

e 3-26).
2. Loosen (2) screws (Fi

ure 3-10) inserted throu
g
h bottom of Platen below Beam Block. If screws
cannot be accessed with Platen installed, remove Platen (Fi
g
ure 3-11).

ure 3-11 for proper rack clearance.
NOTE:DO NOT loosen Rack Guide(s).
4. Adjust Beam Block and ti

hten hardware.
NOTE:If Platen is removed, DO NOT install at this time.
5. Perform Check procedure “VP - 5.1 Tube Detect Sensor (Beam Block) Check” (Pa

e 3-66).
6. Go to “VP - 3.6 X-Axis Solenoid to Guide Rod Check” (Pa
