VP - 14.1 Y-Axis Operation Check/Adjustment
Purpose:
Preform this procedure to verify and adjust Y-Axis Pusher Arm Operation.
1. Put Sample Loader in Manual Mode.
a. Press and Hold
MAN
and
START
.
b. Turn Power
ON
, hold keys down until BEEPING stops.
2. Activate Pushers:
E and G Loader
a. Set
BAR (1/0) Switch
to
0
.
b. Press
SOL 1
several times.
- Ensure Y-Axis Solenoid actuates every time.
c. Press
SOL 1
and
Y
simultaneously to activate both pushers.
F Loader
a. Press
Y
to activate both pushers.
3. Ensure Pusher Arms are in Phase (i.e., both arms should be fully extended at same time).
4. Ensure Pusher retracts properly.
a. Press
Y
momentarily to extend Pusher Arm about 1/4 in. into Platen.
