Purpose:
Perform this procedure to adjust the X-Axis Soleniod Slide so that it is perpendicular to
the X-Axis Guide Rods, Fi
g
ure 3-16.
NOTE:This procedure is not required for [CE MARK] Sample Loaders (Figure 3-12, Page-3-32).
1. Perform Check procedure “VP - 3.6 X-Axis Solenoid to Guide Rod Check” (Pa
g
e 3-31).
2. If installed, remove Platen.
3. Put Sample Loader in Manual Mode.
a. Press and Hold
MAN
and
START
.
b. Turn Power
ON
, hold keys down until BEEPING stops.
4. Remove Solenoid Umbrellas If present (TSB 97- 010, 95 - 051).

CAUTION:Only use ( ← X →)

to move Solenoid slide. Moving the Slide by Hand will cause mis-
alignment.
