Purpose:
Perform this procedure to verify and adjust Blood In-Line Sensor Operation, Fi
ure 3-82,

1. Put Sample Loader in Manual Mode.
a. Press and Hold
MAN
and
START
.
b. Turn Power
ON
, hold keys down until BEEPING stops.
2. Clean the sample path:
a. Place tube with enzymatic cleaner under Sample Needle.
b. Lower Sample Needle into tube of cleaner.
c. Aspirate 1/2 tube cleaner by manually openin
Solenoid 96 and 92. (Cleaner drawn throu
h
Sample Needle, Shear Valve and deposited in Waste Chamber 2.)
d. Aspirate remainin
cleaner by manually openin
Solenoid 96 and release lever from Sample
Peristaltic Pump. (Cleaner moves throu
h Shear Valve via Peristaltic Pump to Waste Cham-
ber 2.)
NOTE:The typical clot is in the T-fitting that joins the peristaltic pump to the Shear Valve and
Solenoid 92.
e. Run back
round counts to flush cleaner.
