1. Before performin

this procedure, perform “VP - 3.8 Rack to Laser Shield Check” (Pa

e 3-39).
2. Remove racks from under mixin

assembly.
3. Put Sample Loader in Manual Mode.
a. Press and Hold
MAN

START

b. Turn Power
ON
, hold keys down until BEEPING stops.
4. Set
BAR (1/0) Switch
to
1
.
5. Press
MAN
to actuate arm.
6. Measure ener

ized and non-ener

ized tube position arm distances from Platen Wall, not Laser
Shield (Fi

ure 3-72).

a. Measure both arms. Each arm should extend 0.32 - 0.4” (8 - 12mm) from Platten Wall.

on shield or platen.
