6.3.1 Overview
GPIB (General Purpose Interface Bus) allows external control of the 6241A/6242 measurement function
settings, measurement parameter settings, and reading measurement data, making it simple to configure
an automated measurement system.
As GPIB signals from the 6241A/6242 are electrically isolated inside the unit from the measurement signal
system, the connection of external devices does not affect the measured values. The remote commands are
the same as with USB.
